Goals

The Quick ‘N Clean Foundation works at the grassroots level to achieve these goals:

 Clean Elections – Publicly funded elections are essential to break the link between private money and political decision making. The states of Maine and Arizona have both passed effective clean election laws. These laws level the playing field between incumbents and challengers, and free candidates to spend their time listening, learning, and reviewing pending legislation. Clean election laws sever the connection between private money and public policy.

Dynamic Democratic Precinct Organizations – The Democratic Party desperately needs each precinct in the Nation staffed with capable and energetic precinct organizations. Well-led precinct organizations can serve as excellent vehicles for grassroots political reform including clean election laws, election oversight and candidate support.

Democratic Candidates in All Elections – Voters deserve a choice on Election Day. Our State and our Nation will be well served by highly qualified Democratic candidates running in each and every election.

Powerful Democratic Platform – The Democratic Party desperately needs a powerful, comprehensive and concise statement of its values and plan to rebuild the economy, provide quality affordable health care, protect the environment, educate our children and defend our nation. This plan must be fair, take a holistic systems approach, be fiscally responsible and honor the human rights of all citizens.

Clean Government – Ethics in government is essential to a just and prosperous society. Well conceived codes of ethics, quality training and effective enforcement will provide the foundation for outstanding public service. Ethical conduct starts with the chief executive.

Quality Leadership – Quality leadership principles and practices allow governments, businesses and schools to flourish. With quality leaders and quality leadership practices, all stakeholders win, and no stakeholders lose. Everyone is better off, and no one is worse off. W. Edwards Deming has shown us the way.

Honest Elections – Election system integrity is the foundation of democracy. All aspects of the election system must be transparent and subject to public oversight.
